BOTH Dipo Akinyemi and Danny Amos have been recognised for their efforts in York City's important 2-0 victory versus Woking on Saturday.

An impressive effort from York saw Adam Hinshelwood's side secure a crucial three points in their ongoing challenge to remain in the Vanarama National League, with strikes from Billy Chadwick and Akinyemi seeing City move to three points clear of the relegation zone.

Akinyemi notched a goal and an assist, to take his tally to 25 goal contributions for the season with a fantastic long-ranged effort to settle the score for the Minstermen.

The striker's efforts have seen him earn a place in the Non-League Paper Team of the Week, with Akinyemi maintaining his impressive form as of late.

Also included in the Non-League Paper Team of the Day is former York midfielder Mitch Hancox, who departed the club for Altrincham in mid-March.

THE NON-LEAGUE PAPER: Hudson (Oldham), Asare (Maidenhead), Collinge (Barnet), Langston (Eastleigh), Bush (Boreham Wood), Grey (Hartlepool), Hancox (Altrincham), Charles (Bromley), Allarakhia (Wealdstone), Waldron (Southend), Akinyemi (York)

Elsewhere, Amos has been recognised in the National League Team of the Week.

The left-back has been an ever-present for City since joining on loan from Grimsby Town, making 13 appearances since joining in February.

Amos' impressive form has seen him earn a position in the Team of the Week for the National League, which also includes a place for former City goalkeeper Ryan Whitley, who is representing Scarborough Athletic in the Vanarama National League North.
