A Bake Off contestant has said goodbye to the iconic white tent after being named the fifth baker to leave the competition.
Each week, amateur bakers are tasked with completing various baking challenges, including some with missing ingredients or no recipe.
This week was Dessert Week, which featured a staggered-start signature round with self-saucing puddings, a technical set by judge Nigella Lawson, and a retro showstopper challenge.
As with every week of Bake Off, another contestant had to leave the show - see who left the tent.
Who left Bake Off in Dessert Week?
Connie was named star baker, while Yannis was told he would be leaving the tent.
Yannis, a 28-year-old paediatric doctor from Vienna now living in London, was eliminated during Dessert Week on The Great British Bake Off after a series of pudding challenges.
He said: "Thank you, it has been a pleasure.
"I grew up watching this programme and being here for five weeks is surreal.
"I will be very proud of that and it’s been absolutely wonderful."
Describing his exit as "definitely bittersweet," he said: "I was heartbroken to leave my Bake Off family, but there was also a strange sense of relief.
"Filming incredibly long hours in a challenging tent while juggling my full-time job, often doing 12-hour shifts and nights was exhausting, so my body was definitely ready for a break."
He shared that he flew to Spain for his best friend’s wedding the following week, which helped "soften the blow".
Reflecting on the experience and sharing his favourite parts of the show, Yannis said: "The Technicals.
"I’m someone who likes to plan, practice and know exactly what I’m doing, so being handed a mysterious recipe, sometimes with no recipe at all, or with half the instructions missing is basically my worst nightmare."

He said he "aged approximately five years" during each technical challenge.
Yannis said the highlight of his time on the show was getting to hug judges Paul Hollywood and Nigella Lawson.
