RUNNERS are being invited to take part in Beech Hyde Primary School's Multi-Terrain Ten Kilometer Run in aid of new computer facilities at the school.
Delayed due to the foot and mouth crisis, the run has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 7, at 10am.
This will be when more than 100 runners are expected to cross the starting line at Marford Road Playing Fields in Wheathampstead.
Entrants will be getting back to nature thanks to the re-opening of footpaths across the area.
With the organisers hoping to beat last year's sponsorship total of £1,400, more runners are being encouraged to take part.
Race organiser Laurence Nieberg, in particular, is hoping this year's run will bring in more sponsorship money than last year.
Anyone wishing to take part can contact Mr Nieberg on 01582 624833 for a sponsorship form or by e-mailing him at nieberg@aol.com.
Entry forms are also available at Beech Hyde School in Nurseries Road, Wheathampstead, on Fridya, July 27.
