YORK City striker Will Davies has joined fellow Vanarama National League outfit Bromley on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Davies signed a long-term deal with York in November, joining City for an undisclosed fee from Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town.

The 24-year-old bagged an impressive eight goals in 15 appearances for the Iron, before going on to make 21 additional appearances with City, netting five goals.

That includes a goal on his debut in a 2-0 triumph over relegated Oxford City, where he was also named as York's Man of the Match.

However, after missing the Minstermen's trip to Bromley on Saturday through the decision of manager Adam Hinshelwood, the striker has departed the club on a short-term loan.

Davies joins a Bromley side currently occupying third position in the National League, despite a 2-0 defeat to City on Saturday.

The Ravens have accumulated 66 points from 40 matches, with Davies available for Andy Woodman's final six outings of the season, including the play-offs if Bromley were to be involved in them.

Davies could make his Bromley debut as soon as tomorrow, with the Ravens travelling to relegation-threatened Dorking Wanderers (3pm).
