YORK City midfielder Olly Dyson has extended his loan stay with Scarborough Athletic until the end-of-the-season.
Dyson returned to York after suffering a foot injury, wearing a protective boot as a cautionary manner, having initially joining Scarborough on a one-month loan deal in January.
The 24-year-old registered four appearances for Scarborough in the Seadogs' push for the Vanarama National League North play-offs, having featured in two victories for the North Yorkshire outfit in his initial one-month loan stint.
Dyson had made 23 appearances this season for York, having already made an impressive 116 appearances for the Minstermen in four years of service, which includes City's promotion from the National League North in the 2021/22 season.
The midfielder could make his return to action for Scarborough in tonight's match with relegation-battlers Southport at the Flamingo Land Stadium (7.45pm).
