YORK City have completed their second signing of the day- bringing in Scottish winger Kai Kennedy.

Kennedy joins York following his release from Scottish giants Rangers, having had previous loan spells with the likes of Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Raith Rovers and Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish Championship.

The 21-year-old spent last campaign on loan in the Scottish League One with Falkirk, netting nine goals in 33 appearnces with the Bairns.

Standing at five foot four inches, Kennedy also made his professional debut with Rangers in a Scottish Cup match against Stranraer at the Ibrox Stadium.

Kennedy also boasts international experience, having previously represented Scotland at their under-19's level and under-21's level.

It's Michael Morton's second addition of the day, after bringing in former Hull City midfielder Dan Batty on a three-year contract.

Kennedy is now the 15th addition of the Summer, and will compete with Maziar Kouhyar, Zanda Siziba, Callum Harriott and Finlay Barnes in being able to play on either wing.
