YORK City have recalled goalkeeper Ryan Whitley from his loan spell with Scarborough Athletic.
Whitley departed the club earlier this month to join Scarborough for a second stint, acting as the club's starting goalkeeper in the Vanarama National League North.
However, York have activated their recall clause in Whitley to bring the goalkeeper back to the LNER Community Stadium, after David Stockdale was substituted off in City's 1-1 draw with Aldershot Town on Saturday after suffering an injury.
Whitley made three appearances for the Seadogs, keeping two clean sheets, and will start in the Minstermen's trip to Dorking Wanderers on Saturday, August 26 (3pm).
It'll be welcome news to the shot-stopper who had a similar spell between the sticks towards the back end of last season, replacing the injured Ethan Ross and producing a memorable display on the final day of the Vanarama National League season against Notts County.
