York City's 2026/27 League Two fixtures are confirmed

YORK City have today learned of their Sky Bet League Two fixture list - and will begin their new season at the LNER Community Stadium.

York's season begins on Saturday, August 15, with a home fixture against Bristol Rovers at the LNER Community Stadium.

Their first away match of the campaign delivers an enticing Yorkshire derby, when City make their shortest trip of the season to Rotherham United on Saturday, August 22.

Old rivalries will be renewed on Boxing Day when the Minstermen hit the road to take on Oldham Athletic.

They will kick-off the New Year at the LNER Community Stadium against Salford City on Friday, January 1, whilst their first away trip of 2027 will be at Crawley Town on Saturday, January 9.

Finally, City end their home campaign against Colchester United on Saturday, May 1, before their season concludes on the road, travelling to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday, May 8.
