YORK City Ladies have today learned of their opponents for the 2026/27 season.
After another hard-fought 2025/26 campaign, York secured safety in the FA Women's National League Division One North with two games to spare, finishing on 15 points.
That was four points more than Doncaster Rovers Belles who have been relegated from the league.
However, after scoring the joint lowest tally in the league and conceding the second most goals in the division, City will be looking for improvement ahead of the new campaign.
Leaving the league alongside Doncaster will be Huddersfield Town Women, who won the title, and Cheadle Town Stingers, who also gained promotion.
Some new opponents for the Minsterbelles next season sees AFC Fylde Women, Halifax Women, Thornaby FC and Bradford City Women join the division.
Bradford, Thornaby and Fylde are making the step up from tier five, whilst Halifax have been relegated from the National League Northern Premier Division.
Meanwhile, despite finishing rock bottom and below Doncaster, it's Blackburn Rovers Women who have received a reprieve and will remain in the league for next season.
Wythenshawe have also laterally moved to the Midlands division.
The full fixture list is expected to be released on Wednesday, July 15.
