Lancashire, who won the first Origin match 50-8 in August, looked comfortable after establishing a 16-0 in the early stages of the second half, but Yorkshire could not get themselves over the line despite a spirited fightback.
Partington scored the opening points for Lancashire with just over a quarter of an hour played, Molly Jones playing her in to crash into the left corner after good work from Katie Mottershead.
Izzy Rowe could not convert but did manage to do so from the right touchline just before the half-hour after neat hands sent Anna Davies over.

And Lancashire wasted no time in building on their 10-0 lead in the second half, Mary Coleman powering her way through from close range after Yorkshire had given away a needless penalty for dissent, Rowe converting.
But the White Rose hit back after Kershaw had intercepted a cut-out pass and raced 50 metres upfield, the ball then going left for Phoebe Hook to score.
And Renouf was across the whitewash shortly after, Ruby Walker’s delayed pass releasing her through a gaping hole in the Lancashire defence to the right of the posts. Walker’s conversion took the score to 16-10.

Sexton then closed the gap to two points after Hook had been stopped just short, but it was Lancashire who had the last word in the dying seconds when Davies twisted her way into the right corner to seal a 20-14 win.
