REIGNING cup winners Huntington WMC C visited BurtonStone WMC and came away 7-1 winners.

A tough cup game saw Bishopthorpe A win 7-6 over a Dick Turpin B side looking for revenge after a heavy league defeat a few weeks ago .
Turpin with Daniel Smith wining 3 frames went into a 6-4 lead Bishopthorpe’s Dan King, and David Hollins dug deep to bring the win home for Bish.
In the Ultra Fabrication York Wednesday Pool Team Plate Knockout preliminary round, Hospital Club B played last seasons Plate Winners #upthebish.
At 5-6, Dean Lonsdale had the opportunity to level the match for the Hospital Club, he potted the black ball but the white also rolled in the pocket the final frame went to #upthebish to give them a 7-5 win.
Both York University teams playing for the Edinburgh Arms won tonight the A Team winning 7-3 against Huntington Sports Club and the As winning 7-6 v the Mitre.
Clock A visited Rackemup in Clifton and had an excellent 7-0 win with Craig Fox , Si Newby and Paul Thomas all winning two each and Daniel Witcombe winning one.
In other news, both Adam Myerscough and Alice Paylor are playing in the 2024 International Festival of Blackball Pool Event in Coleraine on the beautiful north coast of Northern Ireland .
They are playing in the team event for England Men’s and England Ladies and are both in the Singles Men’s Knockout and Singles Ladies Knockout tournament a further update will be provided next week on their progress.
Also congratulations to Jammy Clark, Tommy George and Caspian Milne, who attended North Yorkshire County trials and have been selected to play for the 24/25 season well done to The Eddy Arms players.
