Drag artist La Voix has revealed she will be making her Strictly Come Dancing return, just a week after withdrawing from the BBC series.
The former RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star, whose real name is Christopher Dennis, was forced to withdraw from the BBC dancing programme last week (Blackpool week) due to injury.
La Voix had been given a bye in the round prior, following the initial announcement of her injury.
Speaking to Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly on last Sunday’s results show, La Voix said: "This has been the most extraordinary experience of my entire life, it really has.
“What have I loved the most? Don’t hate me, but it’s not been the dancing, it’s been, just being welcomed on this show with the most amazing warmth from everyone, from the whole crew backstage, the judges to the pros, to the celebrities, to you two, to everyone, it’s been amazing.
“I came into the show as a minority, you know, as a redhead, and you’ve just all embraced me wonderfully, and I just cannot thank you enough for just this most magical, magical journey, it has been amazing."
As a result of La Voix's withdrawal, there was no dance-off on last week’s results show and no elimination, with votes and scores carried over to this week.
La Voix to make Strictly Come Dancing return
Now, just a week after her withdrawal from the hit BBC TV show, La Voix has revealed she will be returning to Strictly Come Dancing on the Live Arena Tour in 2026.
The drag performer and Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey were announced as the first two celebrities taking part in the 2026 Strictly Come Dancing Live Arena Tour.
They will be joined on the tour by judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood, as well as Strictly – It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara, who returns to host.
La Voix, who came second on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2024, will be joined by dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec, while Aikines-Aryeetey will be reunited with professional dancer Karen Hauer.

She said: “I loved being part of Strictly and was devastated when my time on the show was cut short because of injury.
“But now I’m absolutely thrilled to have the chance to get back on an even bigger dancefloor with the sparkling 2026 Strictly live tour.
“I can’t wait to sashay my way around the country with my wonderful partner Aljaz by my side."
