A FREE exhibition is to be staged at York Explore library to explore 800 years of the city’s civic history.
Starting on July 25 and running until September 30, it will use the city’s archive of historical documents to tell the stories of those who have lived and worked in York through the centuries.
It comes after City of York Council ’s archive team were awarded a £9,505 grant from environmental body Yorventure, which will be used to buy three display units and four notice panels for the library.
