CAMPAIGNERS for the restoration of a railway between York and Beverley have launched a petition calling on local authorities to commission a feasibility study.
The petition urges City of York Council, Ryedale District Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council, to commission a detailed study into the feasiblity of the project. It also calls upon the East Riding of Yorkshire Council to take the lead.
