WIGGINTON cyclist Phil Brighton (Askham Bryan College/Ceejay Graphics) continued his return to form with victory over the Three Sisters circuit at Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Manchester.
Brighton, who started the race in the scratch group, proved the fastest finisher to relegate Leigh Cowell (Ribble Valley CRC) into second place.
Brighton goes to the Isle of Man next week to contest the European Masters Road Race Championship. About 300 riders from throughout Europe will cover two laps of the TT circuit.
