An East Coast pub has reopened following a £313,000 refurbishment to revive its role as a community hub.
The Seabirds in Bridlington, located on Fortyfoot Road, was transformed through a joint investment from the licensee, D&A Pub Group, and Admiral Taverns.
The pub has been refreshed inside and out while retaining its original character.
Sarah Beckett, co-manager at the Seabirds, said: "It has been absolutely fantastic to see this refurbishment come to life and the finished pub looks incredible.

"The Seabirds is a real community hub and the support we have had from locals since it reopened has made me very excited for the future.
"I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make this transformation a success and also the entire team at Admiral Taverns for all their support along the way."
The refurbishment includes new fixtures, fittings, furniture, flooring and décor throughout, as well as redesigned bar and carvery areas.
The pub now offers a broader selection of drinks, including cask ales, premium lagers, ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
A new menu has also been introduced, featuring traditional pub favourites such as burgers and pies.
A Sunday carvery is now available, offering a choice of meats and all the trimmings.
The management team, Sarah and Matt Beckett, have extensive experience in the pub industry and are focused on creating a family-friendly space that supports the community.
The Seabirds will host weekly live music, darts and pool teams, and quiz nights, along with fundraising events for the local charity Making Friends Bridlington.
Outside, the pub has new signage, a fresh coat of paint and a revamped beer garden.
Seabirds is owned by Admiral Taverns, which operates around 1,350 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.
Andy Longley, business development manager at Admiral Taverns, said: "I’m delighted to see the Seabirds reopened following a fantastic refurbishment.
"This pub has always played a role in bringing the community together, and I have no doubt that this will continue to be the case for many years to come.
"On behalf of everyone at Admiral Taverns, I’d like to wish him every success for the future."
