A renowned paranormal investigator is set to reveal supernatural secrets to a seaside town in Yorkshire.
Chris McKinnell, grandson of the legendary Ed and Lorraine Warren, whose cases inspired The Conjuring film franchise, will visit Whitby and other regions in the North.
Unlike his famous grandparents, Mr McKinnell takes a unique approach to the paranormal.
Although he believes in supernatural phenomena, he questions traditional explanations, demanding scientific evidence for psychic occurrences.
He is also an experienced exorcist who doesn't believe in demons, making him a distinctive figure in his field.
Mr McKinnell's career began at 16, investigating a violent poltergeist case with his grandfather, Ed Warren.
Since then, he has examined more than 10,000 cases worldwide, separating genuine supernatural activity from superstition and folklore.
His career includes involvement in three cases that inspired Hollywood films.
Visitors to his Northern England tour can expect insights into the realities of paranormal investigations and why he believes the truth about hauntings may differ from their cinematic portrayals.
The tour begins on October 30 at Flowergate Hall Community Arts Centre, Whitby, and on October 31 at The Haunted Headquarters, Ashington, Northumberland.
The event concludes on November 2 at The Burgess Foundation, Manchester.
