A CUSTOMER or group of customers have allegedly made off without payment from a restaurant in York.
North Yorkshire Police said it happened around 6.45pm on Friday, September 4.
A force spokesperson said it is appealing to the public for information and wants to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened.
