A PINT at the match remains one of football’s most cherished traditions.
New research by credit card provider Zable, looking at the cost of a pint at every Premier League ground, has revealed that Leeds United fans enjoy one of the most affordable pints in the top flight.
Elland Road, Leeds’ home ground, charges £5.60 per pint, the same as Newcastle United and AFC Bournemouth.
However, fans can find better value nearby, with the average pint in pubs around the stadium costing just £4.74.
The study highlights the rising costs of matchday experiences across the league, but offers a small comfort for Leeds supporters who prefer to toast their team from the terraces.
The cheapest pint in the Premier League can be found at Ipswich Town’s Portman Road, where a drink costs just £3.50.
