A world-class theatre production directed by Hollywood star Stockard Channing is coming to Goole this autumn.

Krapp’s Last Tape, the acclaimed one-man play by Samuel Beckett, will be performed at Junction Goole on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 7.30pm.

The production stars British actor David Westhead and is directed by Academy Award nominee Stockard Channing.

Best known for her roles in Grease and The West Wing, Ms Channing brings a powerful interpretation to one of Beckett’s most celebrated works.

Graham Whitehead, Head of Arts & Culture at Junction Goole, said: "It's incredibly exciting to welcome a production of this calibre to Goole.

"Stockard Channing is a globally recognised performer and director, and David Westhead is one of Britain's most respected stage and screen actors.

"Bringing work of this quality to Junction reinforces our commitment to making outstanding arts and culture accessible to our community."

Following the performance, Mr Westhead will take part in an audience Q&A, offering insights into the production and his career in theatre, film, and television.

Tickets are priced at £18 (£16 for Junction Pass Members, £12 for students, with free entry for teachers).

They can be booked at www.junctiongoole.co.uk/events/krapps-last-tape or by calling 01405 763652.
