Anthony Gordon has been gifted lifetime access to Leeds Bradford Airport’s VIP lounge.
The reward comes after the England footballer scored a goal against Argentina in the recent World Cup semi-final.
Leeds Bradford Airport made the announcement on social media, posting: "FREE SIX EIGHT ONE LOUNGE ACCESS FOR ANTHONY GORDON FOR LIFE!!!!!!!"
The Six Eight One lounge is part of the airport’s newly extended terminal and offers travellers a premium experience, including chef-prepared meals, complimentary drinks, and a dedicated quiet area.
Despite Gordon’s efforts, England lost the match 2-1 following two late goals from Argentina.
Airport officials said Gordon is still welcome to enjoy the lounge.
But after the match England fan Reece Jones wrote on Facebook of the offer: "This aged well."
Leeds Bradford Airport confirmed the offer still stands, replying: "He can still have free lounge entry, it was a great goal!"
And Chontelle Rogers wrote: "Can you add mine and my friends name on there too?"
What could England's goal hero expect?
Gordon’s visit to the lounge could include complimentary access to its bar, which serves a selection of beers, wines, and spirits, as well as hot and cold beverages.
Travellers can also enjoy a chef-prepared buffet with both hot and light meal options.
The lounge features comfortable seating areas for families and a quiet zone for those seeking a peaceful environment.
Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, live flight information screens, and private restrooms.
The Six Eight One lounge, located within the airport’s expanded terminal, aims to provide a "calm, welcoming environment away from the bustle of the terminal" for departing passengers.
