A North East accountancy firm has been named a 'great place to work' for the third year running.

Clive Owen LLP, which has offices in Darlington, York, Durham, Middlesbrough, and Newcastle, secured the Great Place to Work certification following confidential employee feedback.

A total of 91 per cent of staff described the firm as a 'great place to work,' compared to the UK average of 54 per cent.

Phillipa Symington, people and culture partner at Clive Owen LLP, said: "Receiving Great Place To Work Certification for a third consecutive year is something we’re incredibly proud of because it reflects the views of the people who know our business best, our colleagues."

The business's other achievements include supporting the real living wage and raising more than £17,000 for charities across the North East and Yorkshire.

The firm was also named Mid-Tier Firm of the Year at the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards.
