ONE lane of a North Yorkshire motorway is closed due to damage caused to part of its infrastructure.
National Highways said lane one of three on the A1(M) northbound between junction 45 and 46 near Wetherby is shut due to a damaged bridge joint.
Traffic is moving slower than usual this morning (Monday, June 1) along the motorway between the two junctions.

The agency said there is no estimate of the time that the lane would reopen.
Lane 1 (of 3) remains closed on the #A1M northbound near #Wetherby between J45 and J46 due to a damaged bridge joint.
There is no estimated time for reopening at this stage whilst awaiting repairs to be completed.
