The event features eight themed zones celebrating gaming, comics, props, publishing, and guest appearances.
Steve Dickinson, organiser of Sci-Fi Scarborough, said: "It's been an absolutely pleasurable experience organising SFS for a dozen years now, we have a solid team who turn up year in year out and make it happen, and we just couldn’t do it without them, so thanks to all who buy the tickets too, it’s greatly appreciated.
