A TOWN art gallery could be set to get a new member of staff.
Whitby Town Council is considering hiring a new staff member to its visitor welcome team at the Pannett Art Gallery.
The visitor welcome and facility support team at Whitby Town Council (WTC) could see a new staff member join, if proposals are approved.
WTC’s human resources committee is set to discuss the appointment of a new staff member as well as plans to hire a current volunteer on a temporary basis.
The visitor welcome and facility support team is focused on the “efficient and effective delivery of support services for Pannett Art Gallery and Whitby Town Council.
“Our team members play an active role in maintaining the highest standards of customer care with a family-friendly focus, while ensuring the security and cleanliness of the gallery and throughout the building,” according to the council’s website.
“Support services will encompass front of house, retail, admin, collections care and caretaking duties and assisting with a variety of events and activities for Pannett Art Gallery and WTC.”
