THE A64 is to be closed on several days over the coming weeks for an upgrade to street lighting.
National Highways are upgrading street lighting to energy-efficient LEDs along the A64 near York and across North Yorkshire. Overnight works (8pm–6am) will continue, with lane and full carriageway closures.

12 Nov: Full closure North Lane → A64 Hopgrove Interchange westbound. Diversion via A64 & local routes
13 Nov: Full closure A64 Hopgrove Interchange → Grimston Bar westbound. Diversion via A1036 Malton Rd, Foss Islands Rd & A1079 Hull Rd
14 Nov: Lane closures on Hopgrove Interchange ring road
17 Nov: Grimston Bar eastbound exit & entry slips closed. Diversion via A64
18 Nov: Grimston Bar westbound exit & entry slips closed. Diversion via A64
19–20 Nov: Grimston Bar overnight lane closures
22 Nov: Fulford eastbound exit & entry slips closed. Diversion via A64
