DRIVERS are being warned that part of a main road in York is set to close for roadworks.
Haxby Road in York is set to close near the Nestle factory between its roundabout with Hayley’s Terrace and Link Road on Monday (November 10) and Tuesday (November 11).

City of York Council say it is envisaged that the road will only be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm on each day.
The closure is for highway maintenance and an alternative route for diverted vehicles will be
signed during the works period via Huntington Road. Access for emergency
services will be maintained throughout the works period.
