A much-loved village pub near York is set to re-open this week after a major revamp.
The Fox at Stockton-on-Forest will open its doors once more on Friday at 3pm.
The re-opening follows Tom Brown, 27, adding the village pub to his portfolio, adding to the Knapton Lion and the Lord Nelson at Nether Poppleton.
The pub closed last August but in June was bought by villagers Kate Starkey and Philippa Myers. It had been on the market for £275,000 freehold.

As previously reported by the Press, Tom is now leaseholder for the site and will be paying Kate and Philippa a monthly rental.
He recruited a manager to run the pub and work with him and general manager Pete Thompson, which is the case with his other pubs.
The pub has posted on social media: “There’s not much longer to wait, Stocktoners!
"Our brand new beer cellar and beer lines have been fitted. Our brand new kitchen is complete. Our brand new furniture has arrived. Our amazing new team members are signed up.
"We’ve got a few final touches and creases to iron out and we’ll be ready and raring from 3pm on Friday 31st October."
The Fox has 45 covers across two restaurant rooms and a large bar area.
An earlier posted added food would be available from 5pm on Wednesday November 5.
The Press has approached The Fox for comment.
