A COCKER spaniel was trapped in a vehicle in a coastal North Yorkshire town.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Whitby crew were called to an incident in Spital Bridge, Whitby, at around 12.30pm today (October 1) after a dog became trapped inside a vehicle.
A spokesperson for the force says the trapped cocker spaniel was rescued after the owners accidentally left the keys inside.
They added: “Crews accessed the side window and reunited the unharmed dog with its owners. Pacex and small tools used only.”
