Brick-built fauna will soon be on the loose in Harrogate, as part of a town trail.

The Harrogate Lego Trail will return on Friday, August 1, with the theme this year being 'Safari Animals.'

Funded by the Harrogate Business Improvement District (BID), the event is expected to draw tens of thousands - with more than 50,000 participants having completed the route (which was fairy tale-themed) in 2024, according to a spokesperson.

Various local organisations will host an exhibit for a number of weeks starting on the launch day.

Bethany Allen, operations and projects executive at the BID, said: "The Lego Trail is one of, if not the most popular event we organise and deliver every year.

"We always receive such fantastic feedback and it’s become a definite staple of our event calendar.

"Watch this space for announcements on the locations of each of the models…"

The BID is working with the charity Fairy Bricks on the trail.
