Sounding the call for volunteers
The Milton Rooms is on the lookout for volunteers to help to run its exciting and expanding programme of events.
The Malton venue has a state-of-the-art sound and lighting desk and needs people with experience to assist in the production of a wide variety of shows, including all kinds of music, theatre and comedy.
The Milton Rooms is run as a not-for-profit charity by a board of trustees and a team of volunteers. The forthcoming programme of events can be seen at www.themiltonrooms.com
Venue manager Lisa Rich said: ‘’We always welcome new volunteers for a wide range of roles and, in particular, we need someone with some previous experience to join the friendly team operating our sound and lighting systems.
