York Wedding Suppliers have been named as finalists in the North of England Wedding Awards.
Launched as a networking group in the city, the group run by Nicola Roberts of Lottie Roberts Flowers and Elizabeth Matfin of Bridal Reloved, has grown since COVID, to around 30 members in all areas of the wedding industry.
The members regularly get together for photo shoots and have now undertaken a number of weddings together in the city.
Elizabeth said: “We get on so well and love working together! This makes for a great experience for couples on their special day as we are used to working as a team”.
And now a record number of the businesses in the group have just been named as finalists in the prestigious awards which aim to recognise businesses in the wedding industry which go the extra mile.
The following businesses have been named as finalists: Bridal Reloved York - Lottie Roberts Flowers - Florist Apple Tree Cakery - Cakes Perfect Venue Dressing - venue Stylist Avorium and Hervé Jones Designs are competing for Stationery Robert Harrison Photography - Photographer Adrian Salamon Magician - Magician Master Debonair - Menswear Nikki Winterburn Hairdressing - Hairdressing Melody Diamond - Celebrant Wedding Services - Spruce.
Elisabeth said: “The group are absolutely thrilled to have so many members named as finalists which is a true reflection of their dedication and excellent client service.”
The awards take place at the Centenary Pavillion in Leeds on October 14.
