A world famous comedian is bringing his new tour to York.
Ricky Gervais has announced the first set of official UK dates for his brand-new stand-up show: 'Mortality'.
On October 22, 2024, the show will head to York Barbican
This October, Gervais will visit 11 major UK theatre and arena venues alongside York. These are: Oxford, Newcastle, Manchester, St Albans, Brighton, Nottingham, Liverpool, Cardiff, Ipswich and Birmingham.
Having already done more than 80 work-in-progress shows this year, Gervais said: "We’re all gonna die. May as well have a laugh about it.

Further dates are set to be announced in due course, with the new global tour from Gervais set to run through to the end of 2025, taking in the biggest arena venues across the UK, Europe and North America.
As Gervais has done with his previous tours, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to charity - £1.91 million was donated to worldwide animal charities at the end of his Armageddon tour in 2023.
