A York-based tea company has been launched with the backing of one of Harry Potter's most popular stars.

Beau-T-Full, set up by York entrepreneurs Tom Riddolls and Charlie Simpson-Daniel, is a range of organic herbal infusions that focus on both physical and mental wellbeing.

The two friends who are donating one pence from every teabag sold to mental wellbeing charities have support from fellow founders - including British actor James Phelps, former England rugby coach Ben Ryan and ex-England rugby player James Simpson-Daniel.

They have also secured investments from tea company Ringtons and Infusion GB, a leading UK tea packing manufacturer.

Phelps, who played Fred Weasley in Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011 alongside his twin Oliver Phelps, has been on board other ventures with Tom and Charlie, such as York-based chocolate product brand The Wizards Magic.

James Phelps took to his Instagram account to promote Beau-T-Full He wanted to get involved with Beau-T-Full because he 'loves herbal tea', said managing director Tom, whose grandfather John Kaye was Lord mayor of York in 1951/2.
