THE cast has been announced for a musical which is set to make a "splash" at Scarborough Spa this summer.
The brand new The Little Mermaid Musical, reimagined by David Phipps-Davis, will come to the venue’s Grand Hall on Saturday August 7.
The tale of Ariel, a mermaid princess who craves to explore the world, will feature a cast of eight multi-role-playing actors lead by West End sensation and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist, Myra Dubois as the sea-witch, Ursula.
Executive producer, Antony Stuart-Hicks, said: "After the substantial pause in live entertainment, theatregoers, especially family audiences have an appetite for cultural engagement that needs to be provided for, The Little Mermaid is perfectly timed to cater for that need."
Joining Dubois will be Georgie Faith, Luke Coldham, Ben Brooker, Aidan Maccoll, Will Tomlin with Kira Maccarter and Phillipe Taylor.
Tickets are now on sale from Scarborough Spa’s website.
