POLICE have reissued an appeal to find a distinctive supercar which was stolen two months ago.
The bright green Lamborghini Aventador, registration RW24, was stolen from outside a property in Featherbed Lane, Wighill Park, Tadcaster, between 2.45am and 2.55am on Saturday, September 1.
North Yorkshire Police said the theft was reported by the owner, a man from Wakefield who was staying overnight in the area, but despite eight weeks of North Yorkshire Police working with West Yorkshire Police, the vehicle and suspect have not been found.
A police spokesman said the Lamborghini was believed to have been driven to the Halifax area following the theft, and urged anyone with information to phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, email quita.passmore@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or phone Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111, quoting reference 12180163488.
