A LAMBORGHINI supercar was stolen near Tadcaster at the weekend.
The bright green Lamborghini Aventador, with the registration number 'RW24', was stolen in Wighill Park on Saturday at around 2.50am, North Yorkshire Police said.
The force added that the supercar is believed to have been driven to the Halifax area. It said West Yorkshire Police is assisting with inquiries.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police commented: "We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"In particular, we are appealing for information as to the whereabouts of this stolen vehicle and any information that would help identify those responsible."
