YORK has done it again. Months after being named as the best place to live in the UK by the Sunday Times, a new poll has revealed it is the country's favourite city.
YouGov's data on the opinions of more than 55,000 people towards 57 English, Welsh and Scottish cities reveals that York is Britain’s most liked city.
More than nine out of ten Britons - 92 per cent - said that they liked the historic city.
Coming close behind in second place was spa town Bath, on 89 per cent, followed by Scottish capital Edinburgh on 88 per cent.
Seventy-three per cent of people said they liked London, putting the capital city in 22nd place, while a 67 per cent rating secured Cardiff 30th place.
At the bottom of the table sat Bradford, which only 23 per cent say they like, only marginally behind was Wolverhampton, on 24 per cent, with third from bottom being Sunderland at 30 per cent.
