DENNIS Wise has a goalkeeping crisis ahead of one of the most important games in Leeds United's history.

Training plans ahead of tomorrow's match against Ipswich were disrupted because first choice keeper Casper Ankergren was feeling unwell, Graham Stack had tonsillitis while Neil Sullivan, just back from a loan spell at Doncaster, had an injured elbow.

Wise said: "We'll have to look at the situation but I'm hoping Casper and Stacky will both be OK to play."

Wise still insists Leeds can avoid the drop and claimed keeping Leeds United in the Championship would be the biggest achievement of his career.

Leeds could go into the third tier of English football for the first time tomorrow if they lose to Ipswich while Hull beat Cardiff City.

Wise said: "It will mean more to me than anything I've won."

In a passionate press conference, the Leeds manager added: "Big clubs have gone down before. It's something none of us want - the city, the players, the staff.

"If we go down there would have to be changes in every department. I've told the players that people could lose their jobs and it's not fair on them.

"It's OK for me. I don't mean that in a callous way. I've done OK out of football and I can go home and relax but there are people that have been here a long, long time and that's something you have to take into consideration.

"It's not about football, it's about caring about people who have had jobs for a long, long time and what it could do to them. The fans don't deserve it either because they've been fantastic, so that's unfair. But life is unfair.

"But I'm not one to give up and I won't give up until we're completely dead and buried. If we get a win on Saturday, it goes all the way. I feel we can win this game and we can get out of it. A lot of people don't believe it but I do."
