YORK City Knights' pre-season friendly at home to Hunslet Hawks has been postponed due to a snow-bound and frozen pitch.
The decision to rearrange the game was taken three days in advance of the match as there is little likelihood of the bad weather relenting in time to make the pitch playable.
The match will now be played on Thursday, January 21, kick off 7.30pm.
Anyone with tickets dated for this Sunday will be able to use them at the match on January 21.
The Knights' pre-season fixtures next weekend against Hull KR (Friday, January 15, 8pm) and Castleford Tigers (Sunday, January 17, 3pm) are still scheduled to go ahead, and if necessary pitch inspections will take place next week.
