YORK City Knights fans have until tomorrow to take advantage of the discount price for 2018 season tickets.

The Kingstone Press League One club’s officials have revealed that sales are going well ahead of their landmark 150th anniversary campaign.

Knights are targeting promotion next year, having just missed out on this season’s League One play-off final, losing 21-20 after extra time in their dramatic semi-final at Whitehaven last Sunday.

Early bird tickets are priced at £140 for adults and £125 for concessions but, from Sunday onwards, will rise to £170 for adults and £140 for concessions.

Entry to league games will remain free for under-16s.

As part of the celebrations, the club are offering exclusive extras for members purchasing early bird tickets this year, which will include receiving an invitation to a ‘meet the squad’ evening and a personalised 150th anniversary membership certificate.

Knights fans have the opportunity to write their name in history, as for £99, “you can have a name of your choice included on the back of the Knights 2018 home shirt, both playing and replica”, but there is a strict deadline of Friday, October 6 for this order and numbers will be limited to the first 150 names.

Finally, fans can become a member of an exclusive club for the season for £500, which includes complimentary director tickets for away games and the opportunity to “play an extra special part of the 2018 season, by becoming a vice-president for the year”.
