EIGHT greats of Minster city rugby league have been inducted into the York RL Hall of Fame.
The octet were rewarded at a dinner held at Chalkers Restaurant at New Earswick Bowls Club attended by the Lord Mayor of York Coun Sonja Crisp, the Leader of the Council Chris Steward, and Rachael Maskell, the MP for Inner York.
They were Graham Sullivan, John Crossley, Peter Foster, Steve Dobson, Dave Rippon, Stan Flannery, who was represented by his granddaughter Dawn Hunter, and Stewart Horton and Alan Pallister, who were unable to attend.
Mrs Maskell, who is also a member of the Rugby League Parliamentary Committee, presented the awards, while the guest speaker was Roy Dickinson, the former Leeds and Great Britain star.
