On-loan Aldershot striker Alex Rodman has been told he has two games in which to impress York City boss Gary Mills, writes Dave Flett.
Mills is facing a decision on whether to retain his services beyond Saturday’s clash with Exeter.
Rodman has netted once in six outings since his November arrival and the Minstermen boss said: “I haven’t made my mind up on him yet.
“We’ve got two big home games now and he will get another opportunity to try to earn himself a longer stay at the cub. I know he’s enjoying it here so it’s down to him in the next couple of games to show what he’s capable of.”
Despite the transfer window reopening today, City are unlikely to field any new faces against Burton at Bootham Crescent, with Mills adding: “Nothing concrete is happening as yet and, unless anything does, we will be concentrating on the players we have.”
