YORK City's Bank Holiday Monday clash with Yorkshire rivals FC Halifax Town has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

York's visit to Halifax's Shay Stadium has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, with a precautionary pitch inspection taking place at 10.30am this morning.

Due to heavy rainfall overnight, the Shay's surface has been deemed unplayable by the match officials, with City's Yorkshire derby now having a new date.

The fixture has now been moved to tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2 (7.45pm).
