YORK City strikers Richard Brodie and Vadaine Oliver will be among 12 players with first-team experience on duty at Whitby Town tomorrow night.

Brodie, who has returned from his loan spell at National League rivals Macclesfield, will feature despite manager Gary Mills initially suggesting that he would play no part, with the 29-year-old forward having been given permission to move on.

Fellow forward Oliver will don a City shirt for the first time this season, having spent the first half of the campaign on loan at League Two strugglers Notts County, where he netted once in 25 outings and played no part in the Magpies’ last two matches.

The others, who have made the squad for the North Riding Senior Cup tie, are Alex Bruton, Matty Dixon, Scott Fenwick, Danny Galbraith, Robbie McDaid, Daniel Nti, Luke Simpson, Callum Rzonca, Tyler Walton and Luke Woodland.

Scholars Aaron Brettel, Noah Jackson and Ryan Whitley will complete the travelling party.

The tie will kick off at 7.45pm and will be decided on the night at the Turnbull Ground.

Admission prices are £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and £3 for under-18s, while under-16 supporters are free with a paying adult.
