Blair BROMLEY will entertain York City on the back of their best unbeaten run since mid-March.

The Ravens have not tasted defeat in four matches, taking eight points from a possible 12.

Draws in their last two fixtures at Braintree (2-2) and Chester (1-1) have followed an away triumph against North Ferriby and a 1-0 Hayes Lane victory over Boreham Wood.

Neil Smith’s men remain suspect at home, however, with their record on their own soil, including three wins and two draws, the worst in the division aside from Braintree and Maidstone.

The Kent club’s tally of ten home goals – at a rate of exactly one a game – is also the lowest in the table aside from Wrexham (nine) and North Ferriby (seven), while the 19 conceded is the third-highest number shipped by a National League side in front of their own fans, behind Maidstone (22) and Solihull (20).

Bromley’s average attendance, meanwhile, this season just creeps into four figures at 1,092, although their lowest gate was a modest 604 when Gateshead were the visitors in August.

The hosts are currently relying on 22-year-old winger Blair Turgott for goals.

Having arrived from Leyton Orient in the summer, Turgott has netted eight times this term, with six of those efforts coming in his last eight outings.

Bromley have been dogged by injuries, meanwhile, to their frontmen with Alex Wall and Ben May both long-term casualties, having been sidelined for nine and eight months respectively.

Fellow forward Bradley Goldberg is also doubtful after missing the last three games, while former Liverpool reserve and 6ft 6in targetman Daniel Ngoo made his debut as a 78th-minute substitute against Chester at the weekend, but didn’t feature in the squad for Braintree on Tuesday night.

Winger Louis Dennis has been out since September too and full-back Joe Howe has become a recent addition to the treatment room.

Bromley plied their trade in the highest echelon of non-League football for the first time last season and finished 14th after replacing National League South-winning boss Mark Goldberg with his assistant Smith mid-season.

The Ravens also go into this match lying 14th – a healthy nine points clear of the bottom four, but 15 adrift of the play-off positions.

Bromley (probable): Julian, Swaine, Holland, Anderson, Johnson, Turgott, Minshull, Martin, Dymond, Porter, Sho-Silva.
