YORK City are offering a free coaching session at Huntington Secondary School as part of the FA's National Girls' Football Week.

The initiative, which runs from next Monday to Sunday, is designed to encourage as many females – both children and adults – to get involved in the sport nationwide.

As a consequence, City’s Foundation department are inviting girls, aged between seven and 12, to attend the complimentary player development centre at Huntington on Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm.

The Foundation will also be running four Football Fun camps during the October half-term school holiday at various venues in York and the surrounding areas, with full details and a booking form available at https://officialsoccerschools.co.uk/yorkcity/

Camps are suitable for boys and girls aged four to 14 and are overseen by FA and UEFA-qualified coaches who deliver a fun, action-packed, professional footballing experience.

The price is £16 per day per place, with an early Bird Booking offer of £14 per day available.
