Selby RUFC celebrated their first derby win at Goole in 15 years after a 34-6 success in Yorkshire Two.
The hosts led 6-3 at half-time, with Mike Stoakes kicking two penalties for Goole to one from Selby fly-half Josh Cruise.
However, the Swans quickly knocked the stuffing out of a tiring Goole side in the second half, scoring three classy tries in the space of eight minutes.
Winger Ben Lunt, teenage debutant hooker Josh Greenfield and full-back Dan Porter all crossed the whitewash to stretch the lead to 20-6. Selby’s tactics of kicking deep into the Goole half worked a treat and they bagged further tries from Cruise and leading try-scorer Lunt, who now has 12 to his name this season.
Cruise kicked three conversions to put the seal on sixth-placed Selby’s triumph.
