POCKLINGTON RUFC extended their lead at the top of Yorkshire Two with a 42-8 victory at home to Moortown.
Though they ended with a convincing six-try success, Pock had to work hard to subdue their Leeds visitors before pulling away in the final quarter.
They looked good early on and took the lead when lively prop Chris Morton dived under the posts for Nick Bennett to convert.
Moortown closed the gap with a penalty, but full-back Bennett sprinted over and converted for a 14-3 lead at the interval.
Number eight Matt Davies then got a pushover try, converted by Bennett.
Moortown scored a try but two close-range pack drives brought Pock tries for flanker Shane Sellers and front row Matt Webber.
Wing Charlie Allen then outpaced the cover to the corner.
Bennett added all the extras to make it six conversions from six.
