POCKLINGTON RUFC's mini and midi rugby section celebrated another highly successful season with its annual awards day at Percy Road.
England Under-21 winger Tom Biggs, Leeds Tykes' player of the year, made presentations to each team's player of the year and most improved player.
The U7s won the Doncaster Festival and the free-scoring U8s won tournaments at East Yorkshire, Morley, Alnwick and Doncaster and were runners up at York.
Pock's U9s finished on a high in the north-east, winning the Plate Competition at Alnwick and were runners-up at Darlington, having being runner-up at Hornsea earlier in the year.
From the seven competitions they entered, the U10s won five - East Yorkshire, Northern, Darlington, Doncaster and Alnwick - and were beaten finalists at the other two.
The Percy Roaders' U11s improved after a slow start and won the Plate at Hornsea.
It was a similar story for the U12s, who triumphed in the Alnwick Festival after being runners-up at both East Yorkshire and Doncaster.
The U13s graduated to big pitch rugby and also finished on a high note when they beat Percy Park - one of the north's top sides - on tour.
The Clubman of the Year award went to Jo Ellott (U13) who, despite missing the whole season with a broken arm, attended every game and training session to help out behind the scenes.
Individual award winners were: U7 James Laudage (Player of the Year), Matthew Fairey and Callum Willis (Most Improved), Lloyd Jackson (Player's Player); U8 Matthew Richardson (PoY), David Bird (MI); U9 Finlay Mooney (Poy), Shaun Williamson (MI); U10 James Thompson (PoY), Grant Walker (MI); U11 Nicky Edwards (PoY), Michael Johnson (MI), U12 Josh Britland (PoY), Arun Marshall (MI); U13 Luke Holman (PoY), Pat Dawson (MI), Luke Holman (PP).
